eStores... venders... MFGs. make me mad

Ordered parts on the 27th of Apr

Nothing on the item or buy page that said the parts were not in stock or would be back order or DIRECT DROP from the mfg

placed the order... credit card charge the 28th

still nothing to indicate that the items were not available. no cconfirmation email... nothing
about a week later I received the "windshield washer stainless cover... the shipping statement said the other items would be shipped in about two weeks.

waited two weeks and called the eStore, who has had my money for nearly three weeks.

it is now the 30th of May and I am still waiting for

stainless engine shroud cover kit
stainless fuse/coil dressup
stainless foglight inserts

so now the eStore has had my money for four weeks and it is the mfg fault

is it ok to name names?

This is not good business! Is it a supporting vendor?

"DIRECT DROP" - That's the problem. Alot of MFG instead shipping directly from the factory have the vendors get their product from designated warehouses. I'm not so sure it's the vendor's fault for this. Have you had a response from the vendor? If the vendor is worth a $41t, they should respond right away to any queries.

I had a similar experience with one of the supporting vendors, a few e-mails back and forth established that the problem was with the warehouse. As a result this vendor dropped EGR from their catalog and sent (w/my approval) equivalent product from Lund.

Check out this site for some good reading.........

By law, a merchant should ship your order within the time stated in its ads or over the phone. If the merchant doesn't promise a time, you can expect it to ship your order within 30 days.
The shipment "clock" begins when the merchant receives a "properly completed order." That includes your name, address and payment (check, money order or authorization to charge an existing credit account - whether the account is debited at that time or not).

No= if it's one of our Supporting Vendors, please take up your matter in the form of Private Messages or emails.

Yes= if it is not one of our Supporting Vendors, I don't see a problem with naming names.

when I called (eStore/vendor) at week three... it took three days to call me, tell me that the mfg was behind orders.

interesting responses... we don t let others know who we are having problems with if they support the site? why?

most of my auto parts are ordered through Yr One, Danchuk, Summit... the only one I have ever really gotten upset with before is Classic Chevy CCC. took four mounths to get head light buckets for my 55 chevy.

so did i miss something? Did the vendor respond to an email?.......

I understand that things happen sometimes beyond ones control but if they didnt respond back to the customer, the way i see it they had the chance to explain what the situation.... if they cant respond back in an email to let one know whats going on.... i say why not expose who it is........
