Wish I had a tuner as well. The temperature has to be over 40 degrees F. for the EVAP to run its test. So when the weather warms up you may get the CEL

Already replaced the gas cap with a acdelco one off amazon. Replaced purge solenoid and all lines and fittings are tight. So leads me to think the vent canister I bought is bad and if the new gas cap was bad it won’t cause and bog or stalling issues once awhile. Fuel pressure is good and hear the fuel pump loud and clear.
I had a truck, could hear the pump run loud n clear but it kept dying... put pressure check on it and was getting 5psi... they need around 40+ psi to work properly, the new pump was pushing out 60psi... the running doesn't mean anything, that pressure does.

I see what your saying but the once in awhile it does that and the fact it was throwing a evap large leak code wouldn’t be a fuel pump. It can sit for 24hrs or more and still start right up with no issue so fuel pressure would have dropped by then if a pump.

A pressure test is the only way to confirm the pump is working
