ever seen this color?
saw it today, had to pull in and snap a few shots:
on the way to thr shop to get both race vehicles ready for Monday's big points race, I saw out of the corner of my eye a HHR painted the most unusual color....I quickly turned in to a Motel parking lot and pulled up to it.
The car looks BONE STOCK...so if this is a customer's re-paint, they did a fantastic job...but it honestly looked to "special edition" to be just some custom paint job...
anyway...you decide. pics are horrible(camera phone), but you can still see the color.
Brenda snappped a couple with her camera phone too, which I'll upload later, as her phone takes better pics.
very cool gold color...here's the closest I could find in a clear image to the hue of the HHR I saw:

I am thinking that based on the roof rails in all chrome this is not an '09 since they are now black roof rails with chrome on each end...also, the 17" high polished wheels are supposed to be extinct on the '09s and there are new 'chrome tech' wheels available...just my

You should have checked closer. If it was an 09 and you looked inside you would have seen the power window switches have moved from the center console to the door. Now we just have to sit around and speculate for awhile longer

well, sorry...next time I'll draw more attention to myself to attract a crowd so the owner shows up wondering what the hell I want his his car? 
had I known it would have been such a mystery, I would have taken more pics, or at least looked a little closer.
But...mysteries are fun...so eat your heart out HHR-trivia junkies!
