I currently had my exhaust solonoid changed. How ever the solonoid is not seating and will not snapin place. And is now leaking oil. What Will stop the solonoid from seating and snapping in place

Did the old one come out complete with the O ring intact ?
Did you put a dab of oil on the new O ring before installing ?
There is nothing normally in the way when swapping solenoids. Undo the bolt and they should lift out easily and go back in easy (with lubed O ring)
You need to pull it out and look down inside for an obstruction. And, make sure you haven't damaged the new O ring.

The 2 VVT valves are different; are you sure you are putting an exhaust in the exhaust side?

Yes the timing solonoid came out and went back in no problem. But the exhaust solonoid Will not seat and snap in place. The o ring is intact. I tried too put the old back in just to see if i was given a bad solonoid but the old one won't go in place now either I've had another mechanic look as well and they can't figure it out either.

they dont "snap" into place, just push with a little twisting until it seats.

It should just go into position with a gentle push. Look in the hole it goes into is there an obstruction?
