Factory Fogs

Hey All! I am looking to add fogs to my HHR but i want to be able to use the factory foglight assembly so i know for a fact it will fill the whole correctly.

Has anyone done fogs and wired them differently than the factory way. if i can have some sort of switch that works for me! ,the little button n the dash isnt that important to me.

Thanks!

There's no reason you couldn't use an aftermarket fog light wiring kit (wire, relay, switch, etc.) with the factory fog lights. A 12V light is a 12V light, there's nothing special about the lights themselves...... Just make sure you cover the right amperage range with the kit you get.

I initally added aftermarket fogs and later went with stocks. I kept my aftermarket wiring. Years later, no issues. It's not different than wiring up any aftermarket fogs. I have a how to buried in here somewhere....

Those are just the bulbs, I believe he is looking for the complete housing assemblies.
