Fall Edition

Has anyone heard anything about the all black fall edition? I visited three different dealers this past week and no one knows what I'm talking about. I took a copy of what was posted on a different thread. One dealer took the time to look it up on his computer and said the fall edition is listed by Chevy. I also noticed a panel listed as he was scrolling looking for the fall edition. He did a dealer search and noone has anything resembling a fall edition. Does anyone have any info?

What do you mean by, "Does anyone have any info?"?????
Not enough information !!!

But, I was in the office of my Sales Manager at the dealer I did business with....he knew about it and has, at least, 1 ordered (the dealer ship is a conglomerate so he may "pull" from his other Chev. dealerships).

Oh, and because the Fall Special Limited Edition is "limited" to 4000 units, you may only see 1 at each dealer, with an excceptional "dealer markup".$$$$$$$$$$$$

fall edition

That is the info I needed. I did not know only 4000 were to be produced. When are they scheduled to be available at the dealers. How many spring editions were produced? There are still some of the red spring editions in my area. They did not go over really big in my area. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, you know car sales are funny....

because a manufacturer labels a vehicle special limited edition, really doesn't mean that it will command more resale than a comparable model with the same options.

I remember a couple years back special limited edition PT Cruisers. Buyers were really "ticked" when they found out the resale was the same as mentioned above.

Additionally, here in AZ, dealers are always producing "Special Edition" vehicles (especially trucks, SUV's and Cadillacs). Man, are you jolted when you take it in for trade and find out the $4000 premium paid is now worth $50-100.

So, the value remains to be seen.
