Farewell to the HHR

After many months of fighting with GM, they finally replaced my HHR. After fighting and fighting over what the issues I had with GM in general, they finally replaced my HHR yesterday with a brand new Chevy Equinox. I've only driven the Equinox about 250 miles, and well, so far, I love it.

I will still be on and off here for a while, but will slowly be migrating over to equinox forums.

Thanks for all your support and help.

While its unfortunate that you got a dud of an HHR, I'm glad that you reached a settlement allowing you to get something else. Don't be a stranger even as you move over to the Equinox forums, check in from time to time....we'll miss you if you just vanish.

Sorry to hear you go bjall4jc,...my wife had a '05 Equinox on lease. The new Equinox is a lot better than the '05 was on fuel.

My mother had one. Horrible gas mileage. She loved it anyways. It was AWD. I drove it once in a blizzard and would have rather not had AWD. It felt like it was a grizzly bear on roller blades-always skating and trying to find traction. This resulted in a lot of yaw.
So long as you're happy, that's all that should matter.

:)

Post up pics. Don't be greedy!

We have the best of both. I have a 2010 HHR SS and the wife has a 2010 Equinox LTZ. I love driving either one but for different reasons. I am usually in the Equinox on the weekends driving the wife around (and the grand kids).
