Had dealership look at it, I guess its common. Mine was a poor fit from the beginning

They adjusted it somehow and its a little better, but I'm still barely satisfied. I compared it to another HHR parked near it in service and mine still sticks out more... idk what to do.

They also said my rear fascia was poorly fitted too. They added foam or something to stop it from bouncing. Service Manager said its common also, but mine was a lot worse than the usual amount of play and he felt the need to fix it, I'm grateful.

What else can I do? it really bothers me...

They also couldn't hear the high pitch electronic squeal sound coming from my head unit. Hope they don't think I'm a nut...

Could try the regional rep route for the fascia. Regarding the 60Hz noise from the radio, I found that (this is for real) give the glove box door a sharp rap. At least on my car that works for a good long time, I guess there is something loose in the dashboard.

My car CAME this way though. Dammit. I want it fixed. They FIXED it, but it doesn't look good enough for me.

my rear weather stripping on the passenger side its like smushed a little and sticks out of the door jamb. i went back, and all the ones at that dealer were like that. half of the ones ive seen around here are, and half arent. i just gave up becuase they were never going to replace the whole weatherstripping lol.

chances are it got bumped at the dealership. wouldn't put it past them. a good dealer should fix something like this for you.
