Skid plate...

Does anyone make a skid plate that protects the oil pan and transmission pan for these cars? I plan to use this HHR for a tow car ....figure be good investment

You used the old chain, as a tool... But you installed the new chain after, right?

Take a good look at the LCA bushings. Whether you see leakage or not your struts and shocks need replacing. Keep the rear brakes manually adjusted. DexCool has a 5 year shelf life, don't use green.
glad i pulled the oil pan and pickup tube out....it was full of plastic guide pieces. Btw,...that oil pan BARELY clears and comes out or back in...and i thought a vw was tight on space....lol

Lower control arms for SS models only are on national backorder. LT and LS control arms are still available.
