Kinda looks like it just drove out of an Old Navy store!

The pic of the hood emblem just reminded me that I have to see how/where I can mount the same one on Dory.

Pretty sure it's a 1951 according to reference materials I have & your photos. The differences between the 47-53 were minor.

talked to the onwer today he says it is a '53 it only has a few problems and runs good he says.. It is on 6 volt wich is a pain.. one dent on the left side and right side passenger window is broken out. He has another one in the garage forget what year it is but it has wrap around glass in the back window.. he wants to restore both but has little time.... neither are for sale.. the little orange truck that you can barley see in the pics has been sittin ther nearly 10 years... the guys got plenty of cash and no hurry to get ride of anything...

Judging from the length of his grass and two old trucks out in his drive I'd guess he's not the apple of the neighborhood assoc's eye.

Nice old truck but in subdivision such as that one should do their part keeping their property neat.

Probably no HOA there! If there was those trucks wouldn't be there I'd bet. At least that would be the case around here. It's too bad he has this neat old truck and probably will never get around to restoring it. There are a lot of people that would love to have it, and actually fix it up and get it back on the road again.
