Do you want fog or driving lights? There are vast differences in the lenses to give either broad, short range coverage(fogs)or narrower but longer range(driving lights).Hellas or Cibies are excellent choices.PIAAs are also good.Just don't buy the ones that use parking light bulbs-they're awful.

well, you cleared up one of my problems.I did not know the difference.now one more question Tony.the parts man at the chevy dealer told me I would need a different fascia to install oem 2009 lamps in my HHR. the HHR fascia with fog lights are different than one without the foglight.that is the reason you cannot buy OEM 2009 lamps for my HHR 1LT. there is nothing to hold the lamp in. will not snap in. I don"t know ?
Tony I do thank you for your help.

The factory fog lights just snap into place. They replace the dummy plugs perfectly.

Here's what I did initially. I later swapped them out for the stock lights and kept the same wiring I installed here.

the hhr front fascia is the same with or without fog lamps unless they changed them in 2009? I would check that out with another dealer.

I have a 2009 and the stock fog lights snapped into place just push out the dummy covers and they snap in from behind so you have to pull back the plastic sheild in the wheel well area the hardest thing is getting those little plastic snaps out, I'm trying to find the pig tails now to fit the fog lights when I find them I'll post where I got them John B.
