Found a new place for water and wind leaks
Well I had time and finally had my wind shield replaced today complements of safelite auto glass( I think I have paid to open my own branch) 6th or 7th pice of glass in 3 years. Any way I asked the tech if he had to remove the cowl to replace the windshield, he said yes why so I explained how im on this kick ass forum and they said that my wet floor mat on the passenger side could be from the buetyl patch thing(pretty sure thats the technical name for it) he said no sweet hed look at it. He also let me know the glass was not a factory peace he was taking out(its been replaced before) so an hour latter I show back up and he said that the buetyl peace was cut so he sealed it up and also showed me the old windshield and said that I should have a lot quiter ride on the freeway now since about halv of the seal that was but down last time never even maid contact it was still a perfect bead of silicone not even smashed or flattened out there where two 15"-18"sections on the bottom and almost 1/4 of the top not sealed. so it is a lot quieter on the road now. so who knows where the dealer had the glass done at it was a certified used but it used to be a rental. But all is well now thanks to safe lite

HAd to have a new windshield installed in our 2006 LT. They botched the job and it had a big gap at the top where that little rubber flap is suipposed to sit tight against the body. They busted that glass out and installed a new one with different brand of glass. Now we get water on the driver floorboard in rainstorms. Never had this before. Is there a place to look for a gap or something? I could take iot back but they are clear on the other side of the world, about 30 miles away.
