Ha, I was in Port Huron the other day and checked out the same car. After looking at it for a while I looked over at my spring edition and am glad I have what I have.

Nice HHR but I would not trade mine for the rear window delete.

We have 3 rear deletes and 2 panels currently on the lot. A Silver and a White panel. The rear deletes are Bright Red, Maroon, and Blue Flash colors. I would say about 70% of al the HHRs that we order have running boards. The full panels typically don't though, probably because they would get in the way a little if you load them from the side doors.

It looks like the perfect solution for someone who likes the panel but needs to haul people too. I think shaved rear door handles would be cooler too.

I still can not believe GM is sending all HHR`s to Canada with FREE running boards for the last 2 years.Heard it was something about the weather which makes no sense to all the U.S.states that boarder Canada.I would have ordered them anyway as they just don`t look as good without them.

As for half side panels and full panels use your mirror`s look at all the big rig`s out there parking and making lane changes.I have yet to have made a wrong move while driving my panel.

Mike, what GM do something for free? I am not so sure it exactly free seeing how an identical HHR in Canada is $6000. to $ 8000. more then in the USA. I think another reason for the included boards was to cut down on the warranty paint claims on our not so great roads.

In this case they were there was a $225.00 model increase from a 06 in 07 in the U.S. I think it was $200.00.I was going to order in 06 but missed the date
the cost of the boards in 06 was $620.00.So when the 07`s came out I made a point to check the base price to compare with the 06`s.

Our roads are fine around here I bought a base model not much of a difference and after the $7,500.00 I got off sticker price I `am not complaining.
