We'd love to see some pictures. I was considering the bright red. I've liked it ever since I saw the first special edition they offered. Sorry, I don't remember what it was named.

I saw my first HHR in blue flash metallic today. Very nice!

I like the look of the "panel wagon." But Im torn between the looks of it and the practicality and safety of having windows there when you need 'em, like backing out, changing lanes, etc. It's a great compromise between the regular and panel versions. Anyone who wants a panel to put their business name, logo, graphics, etc. has an option if they need the rear seats.
jmho.

That "panel wagon" option is sweet! The best of all HHR worlds! If I had known that would be available I might have waited for an '08...but hindsight is always 20:20.

As for the loss of sight lines through the rear windows, I don't think I've ever had an occasion to us them for head-checks when changing lanes, etc.

The factory packs the runningboards inside the HHR for delivery, If you look at the picture it appears the prep may not be complete, it missing the fishing pole..

And it also appears there are a few people that date themself here. think back in the days of the vans with no windows, we all used to have.. and the shag carpet on the inside walls and doors.

View (or lack of) out the back with Panel

I have an 07 panel and used this trick to gain some rear vision WIDE view.
Went to an RV store and bought the rear window application that they put on motor homes to give you better side vision - takes some getting use to but works great.

Not the ones shipped to Canada they are factory installed are you sure about the ones in the U.S. that makes no sense to have the dealer install them at $80.00 per hour vs the factory for $1.00.

This is mine 15 minutes right off the truck with boards from factory.
