Left work and got out to my car and found a nice egg plastered on the window, took me forever to clean it off. It got under the rubber gasket at the bottom of the window, and pooled down into the windshield wiper area, and down into the gray cup thing that is underneath there.

So yeah, don't know if i just ticked someone off or what. I park on the street a few blocks from work, and it's the second time this has happened. The first was with my old car and right after halloween, so i chalked it up to kids being stupid. So now, i don't know if parked in someone's "spot" and they just happened to get mad, or what. either way, i'm not happy....

 

are you parking under a tree, maybe its a bird egg?

 

i was under a tree, but unless chickens were up in that tree...

Plus it hit the window with some velocity, had a little splattered up in the antennae and the the egg hit in the bottom right of the window.

 

That sucks....Sorry to hear that.

 

I've had a couple of cars egged. It's happened in my driveway also. The best I can figure is that it's because of people being jealous. Some people just don't like when someone else has something nice.

yeah i was super pissed, such a pain to get out, i know there is still a little under that plastic part at the bottom of the windshield, but i would have had to take the entire wiper off to get that part off.

 

Take a look around where you parked and see if there's any cameras on ATMs or stores or something. File a police report and ask around if anyone else has had the same problem. Often times the same punks will create havoc in a neighborhood and cause thousands of dollars of damage when they think no one is looking.

 

unfortunately nothing in the area like that, townhouses on one side and an old warehouse on the other side of the street. Down the street, more townhouses, parking lots with no cameras and an old church. Around the corner is a fire station, but you can't see it from the street i was on at all.

so not any good luck in that department, i'll take a look tomorrow though and see if i see something i've missed before.
