Front Axle nut size

What size socket fits the front Axle nut on the hubs ? I am wanting to check the torque of the axle nut ( 155 ft/lb ) but I cant find the nut size in the book. Need to pick up one if it is larger than what I have
( 1-1/4" - 32mm )

Makes hella noise when braking/turning only, since brake pads and rotors are good, new LCA and all are good, I am thinking the previous owner didnt properly torque the axle nut on the hub, so I am wanting to check that tomorrow morning , just wanting to know if I need a bigger socket than what I have ( I know I had to get one for my wifes van in the past as mine was too small ) so I just wanted to know the size if needed before I pull into the garage and start pulling the wheels. Going to adjust the rear brakes as well.

The LS/LT have a 30 mm nut , get a 30mm deep socket 1/2 drive. Torque to 155 ft lbs.
The SS have a larger size nut, I believe to be 36 mm .

Remember, no impact guns to remove or tighten these axle gland nuts, it’s real easy to strip out the nut and sometimes the axle itself can be damaged!
Torque the nuts while the car is on the ground with the centre cap removed from aluminum wheels.

Yes I knew of that with other vehicles Ive owned. Heres the verdict: I had to buy a deep well as I didnt have a 30mm deep well. My compact torque wrench only goes to 80ft/lb so I just used my 1/2" rachet to check the nuts. The passenger side is tight, I didnt get any movement out of it by hand ( no extensions or breaker bars... the drivers side I easily got 1/4 turn on it so it was loose. I snugged it the best I could by hand and rachet. it still grinds when braking/turning but not as bad. Im assuming the hub is shot anyways since its been doing it awhile and gotten worst recently, so will probly replace both as soon as funds permit. I may stop at a shop later to see if they will torque it and see what happens from there but Im not holding my breath that its that simple LOL
