Front Bowtie Cover?

Hey anyone know where I could pick up the front bowtie cover?

I thought it would look cool with my black HHR, any other opinions?

I like the script too, but I think Joe's is better!

Ebay. But they don't fit quite right, you can see a little rim of gold in the photos.

Yeh, I've seen the eBay ones. They are likely flat. The Chevy bowties (F&R) are "3D". They look like they are a clear plastic with the gold on the back.

Krejaton, you could just take them off and paint them. With a good quality paint, that could also be much more durable than vinyl.

I thought about painting the bowtie in the back. Do you thing the paint would adhere properly seeing as how it is kind of rubbery?

i ordered one of the blue bowtie covers and they arent that great
i got the ones on Ebay

the problem is they dont go around the sides so there is chrome, yellow and blue

just didnt look all that great in my opinion

i ordered 4 and i ended up putting them on my teaching books
look great there

if you did something to make the paint stick it should work, and would be alot better than that cheap looking decal

go to a local sign shop and ask them for a piece of black scrap vinyl and cover it yourself, they will probably give you enough scrap to do that with

My ol man does that type of stuff with some crazy hippy dizzy silver hylographic type strips of sticker material.
He made template a while back with various auto manufacture emblems. He did well. Sold allot of them.
Each one hand cut with an exacto blade. Only took a few minutes to make each one.
I'll post a few pics of them tomorrow.

Perhaps he had a Bow Tie in ther somewhere. I was going to just get decal material from a craft store and cut my own. Or, use model paint. I think decals would be better, I'm not too good of a painter and would hate to mess up on my car, but a decal would peal off easily. No mess, no fuss.
