Front brake Caliper pins
One slide pin has a rubber insert, Does it go in the top or bottom of the front caliper.. The book dont state which is which ??

Mine went in on top. I think the logic is to absorb the caliper movement when brakes are applied. So there isn't a clunk (metal to metal)..

According to the service manual the one with the rubber bushing is on top as per previous posts.

It should be the forward pin if you look at the rotation of the rotor, for the reason Sleeper said. Always that way..

In the illustration, # 2 is pointing to the undercut for the rubber insert.
Actually I think life would still go on with it in either location.. Just saying..
