front brake pads and rotors

Which of these front pads would you recommend for my 2007 HHR?

1. Wagner ThermoQuiet QC1160
2. AcDelco 17D1160CH
3. AkeBono ACT1160
4. other

And don't have a clue how to choose rotors.
thanks

My father never used any of those brands so I think they stink.

Now, we will hear from everybody elses father's favorite brand that has changed hands 4 times since then.

In other words, favorite brands are like belly buttons; everybody has one.

My advice is to buy what you can afford from a vendor you trust.

Here is something to read:

PS
My farther was a carpenter and I had to do his brake jobs.
I've used Wagner and Delco.
I will favor ceramic for the brake dust issue.

My father was a mechanic and a truck driver. He's cheap and always buys the cheapest he can get. I usually buy middle of the road. Like what OldBlue pointed out, the "daily driver" stuff. I've always been partial to NAPA's premium line of brake parts, but I've used a lot of the other brand names out there. I've had pretty good success with Bosch and Raybestos as well.

I used AC Delco Professional # 17D1160CH Brake pad set and they greatly reduced brake dust.

IDK, I'm still running on the OEM pads, brakes, rotors & drums.

I like duralast gold pads. You get a good breaking with no dust and lifetime warranty. So every time they need to be replaced it is free. Gold rotors are pretty good also.
