Front cig plug

Is there a way to access the front cig plug that's under the media area in the dash?

I think the easiest way to do that is just popping off the waterfall trim piece.

The full series gives real good instructions on removing the waterfall as well.

Also, do you think it is possible to remove the cig plug, and wire in a rocker switch to hook my lights up to?

20A fuse on the power outlet, the fuse is at position #29 in the under hood fuse block. As for as the waterfall trim piece goes, its held on by clips so you can remove it by carefully prying it out, just go slowly.

make sure you get some "stubby" switches..after I removed the waterfall to install a switch..I found not much room behind there because of the plasic structure..this one fit dead center and left plenty of room for wiring..just check before you drill that you can afford the space behind the plate..if its the switch box im thinkin of that you are using you may be better off to use the dash storage cubby..LOTS of room for wiring without carvin your hands up too much..that way you can route just under the dash and up the pillar for your overheads..have you considered an overhead console..the thread done previously looks great and would be perfect for your application...[IMG][/IMG]

I really want simplicity at this point. One switch as a master to all the lights. Not multiple.
There's one I want, but I don't know how big the hole for the cig plug is. Anyone?

@Pyro, I found myself a switch that is touch sensitive. It's dark color and flat. It will work. :)
