I was following the advise to check the fuses and make sure they are tight....the ones under the hood were a bit loose..... thanx for the tip!... probably saved me from a electrical disaster...but in the pass.side footwell the fuse panel area had a switch..on/off and a black plunger button beside it???????

 

???? No clue about that. Is it in the fuse box? Previous owner installed extra?
