I was counting on it not being drastically changed. I was hoping it would be car with a definate time stamp. I would even like for it to be discontinued in a few years. I never thought of it as a franchise vehicle

The SSR for example will be a rarity years from now. 20-30 years and you'll have that 06-07 Chevy that ain't around any more.

The PT is having problems the last few years because it hasn't been updated and because of it having no heritage, it has been hard for them to decide how to update a retro car that has no history.

The HHR does have a history. But, like said so weel, with the exection of the Jeep, few cars have been able to sustain popularity without major design overhauls. This may be easier for the HHR than the PT, but I wouldn't expect it to look very similar to what it does now.

And the Equinox is a Trailblazer with a large facelift.

As with the Coblat being a Cavilier.

And the Colorado is an S-10.

And hell, why buy an Escalade? It's just a Tahoe with a different grille!

The PT is going through a major overhall. The hhr would problary have differnt front and rear bumpers on later models. Different headlights down the road. Different fog lights. Painted Interior around the Radio and window buttons I can see GM doing. 06/07 little changes. I'm sure in 09 or beyond there could be something that would stand out.

The Beetle is a very classic-looking car that has been around since 1998 with few changes. 8+ years is a long time for a model to stay current with only minor face and butt lifts.

Eqiunox is a replacement for the tracker, not even close to the Trailbalzer. It's based on a Suzuki I believe.

Cobalt is the replacemnt for the old Cavalier, but denfinatly imporved. Based on a Saturn platform, not the Cavalier.

Colorado is larger and a new frame over the S10. Totally different truck. Better/worse, you decide.

Tahoe/Escalade, well get in the two and you will see the differance. ALthough the new Tahoe is extremely nice.

But the Uplander is a Venture with only a new front clip. That is a fact. Cheap attempt at making it a "crossover" vehicle.
