That's not a bad deal but there going to need to do better for me ( it's a past model as far as I'm concerned ), 5.9% for 72 months is what there offering now , which ain't making it with me. The HHR is a good seller but not as good as the dealers would like you to believe, any time I've bought a new car I head that same thing from the sales man...I think they used that same line on people buying a Yugo.

I paid cash for mine. Insurance is cheaper if you own the car. For a $19k car it's just not worth the finance charges, interest and added insurance costs. And if you do decide to sell, you won't be upside down or need to worry about a payoff.
I don't think you're going to see incentives such as the ones you are mentioning on the HHR. At 30mpg, people will still buy them without "deals" and GM knows that. They've priced the HHR low enough to increase sales and raise their corporate "mileage" figures.
Here in SoCal, they can't keep them on the lots.

With 0% interest there's none of that, keep the $19K in a 72 month CD and collect 5% or more. With plenty of 06's on the lots why would anyone want to buy an 06 with no incentives? In a matter of weeks the 06's will be considered a past model, that alone will drop the value by 2K easy.
Incentives will happen, the question is will they be good enough...come on 0%.
In Cali you may not see them much on the lots but nation wide I think there's more then G.M would like to see, no offense but as usual you guys in Cali will be paying more then you should.

I don't know if it matters so much, but if you go to www.chevrolet.com and try to 'Build and Price' an HHR, you only have '06 for an option. It will show the radio button for '2007' but selecting it resets your vehicle options to Avalanche, Suburban, and Tahoe.
