These guys are great here. You will gain a wealth of knowledge about Wheelie that will make your partnership a lot less stressful than with any other ride you could get.

Thank you all, Wheelie and I feel so much better. ..I know I write a little oddly, but that's how I am, I am a children's book writer and a cartoonist, so I tend to write childlike and make things that are inanimate come alive..LOL!!, I'm very imaginative, so please bear with Wheelie and I.

I love your HHR's too, I wish I had the money to do some of the customizations I've seen, but I live on SSI...$350 a month doesn't get me to do much of anything with Wheelie. ..but i do plan on saving up to upgrade him with some radio steering wheel buttons!!!

Don't forget to watch out for those COOL inexpensive modifications posted here...

I did the lower custom screen grill for less than $2.00...

There are also some simple dress up ideas that you can do for under $10.00 with parts from hardware stores and auto part store.

Be creative and have fun...

How did I come up with Wheelie's name?? HEEHEE!!, Im glad you asked.

When I was about 7 years old, I saw this cool looking cartoon called Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch, for those who don't know what it was, It was about a little red volkswagen that spoke, well, not spoked, but honked what he wanted to say, you could understand what he was saying by his facial expressions and he always spelled out what he thought in his windshield, he also had a Horn hidden under his hood that he used when ever he was about to beat the bad guys, a group of talking Motorcycles, Wheelie would sound his musical horn, simular to the sound of Scrappy Doo doing his PUPPY POWER! out cry, But instead of Whelie saying PUPPY POWER, he said CHARGE!

Well, I loved that cartoon so much. that when I picked up my HHR from the dealer, a vision of that red Volkswagen cartoon popped in my head, and since I always have named my cars, I decided to name my new friend Wheelie. :)

Most of the time everyone around here is friendly but sometimes we get cranky. As for me I've been working around 70 hours a week with an additional 15-20 hours of driving which isn't leaving alot of time for .net.

Have you hugged Wheelie today? If you do it on a daily basis he/she will take care of you a lot better. Don't ask me how I know, I just know.
Welcome aboard. Like someone said look for the inexpensive mods, it doesn't take much to make it YOURS.

See ya down the road
