Pretty sad! when I bought my 2006 late in the mosel year they were still peddling a LOT of 2005's.

Check autotrader, people are getting out of their SSR's left and right. I like the SSR styling except I wish the rear tailgate area wasn't as squared off and boxy. But the SSR really gets dismal fuel economy. The Vette can do 18/27 (or thereabouts) w/ a 6.0 LS2 but the SSR can only manage like 18 or 19 HIGHWAY w/ a 5.3 liter engine? I'm going off the epa estimates of course.

SSR also weighs a lot more than the Corvette. It's basically a TrailBlazer frame with the SSR body. The 5.3 engine shares a lot of the design with the LS engine, but it's an iron block truck engine. Even the LS2 in the TrailBlazer SS only gets 18 or 19 highway.

I'd love to have an SSR, though. Waaay overpriced, but awesome.
