The just sent me a note increasing the value of my points to $2000. They tend to do this quite often. GM card is one of the better values in the world of credit cards.

Dude, there was a class action lawsuit on the original GM Gold Cards. I have one. They tried to limit the amount of redemption by what model you bought. The settlement required them to send notice holders could opt to go back to the original terms (I did). But if you did not respond they gave you a different account.

I got a letter last month saying they were giving me $500 GM dollars.

Seriously, enjoying your car has nothing to do with corporate idiots in the ivory tower and you will be the only one losing out if you sell it.
