Well, being from New Mexico, I can tell you the Spanish translation of "HHR" is "HHR"

I just install a thin black side moulding on mine to help prevent door dings. Looks good too.

Looks like my HHR SS is going to be delayed. It's been picked to be built but thats it. The dealer *thinks* they will have a build date next week. Silly dealer.

The dealer gave me a TPW of May 5th. Did they resume production at the plant?

My car is supposed to be built this week. Since today is Cinco De Mayo, will it come with a trunk full of margartias??

GM partially started up about 30 plants last week or 2 weeks ago from what I read. I'm going to assume the HHR plant was one of them.

Here is the latest as of May 3rd. They are still talking and the local TV news said they may settle this week.

I don't know if HHR production is on or off.

The UAW launched a strike against American Axle more than seven weeks ago, in the face of the supplier's demands for steep wage and benefit cuts that American Axle says it needs to compete with other U.S. suppliers
Ahhhh Snoopy.....GM might not own AX, .........they just give them money… around 200 million, …….guess you and I might be next huh? (I know,...... it’s their supplier, etc.) Just pulling your chain.

Yeah Ray, and it's a MAJOR supplier. Not unusual for GM to "kick" money in when it hurts their respective business. From the top of my almost bald head, I can think of 6 suppliers that GM has done this or similar activities with.

What I don't quite understand is how GM can legitimately provide $200M for this and another $600-700M for their Recen building, which they just purchased. My god, we're talking almost a billion dollars in just these 2 exchanges. Somethings not QUITE RIGHT !!
