The interior was modified quite a bit, the seats have aftermarket Katzkin leather, the shifter and knob, stereo/nav, etc... The quality of the paint is good, but the design is so copycat and outdated that it just looks "ho hum, I've seen that before". I do like the bumpers and tag relocation. The exhaust tip looks funky now though sticking out like a spear. Overall, the exterior mods make it look more like a truck, good or bad.

As for black wheels, on anything, looks like back in the sixties when we use to pop the hubcaps off and run the black wheels. Most of you weren't even thought of yet, so I guess it doesn't have the same effect on you.

I like the bumpers........ but the front one looks tweaked, maybe it's the photo, maybe they rushed it...... Other than the recessed rear plate there's not much going on here. Pity

I like machined/polished/chrome, can't help it. I don't mind black accent if it's very little, but black wheels , especially flat black, all look the same from 50', bland.

Like the tailgate and rear bumper, the rest.... yawn. It's a 5 year old custom (Godfather's got one of the first HHR's of the line IIRC) so it's going to look dated.

If he get's over $10k for it, he should do cartwheels all the way to the bank. Customs never sell for what the same vehicle gets stock.

If you are going to put that much work on the exterior....

BUY A QUALITY DASH KIT TO MOUNT THE STEREO. That thing is just flat plastic. Very shatty looking! Not even close to fitting.
