Good "After Purchase" News...

I bought our Victory Red 2008 HHR Panel 2LT about 2 months ago from a private party for $7,800.00 delivered to us. It had 87,000 miles at the time and almost all the options that were available, plus a few aftermarket options the previous owner installed himself, and while it has been up North in salt using states for 3 years, it don't look like it's ever been in the salt.
While I've seen quite a few white panels, some silver ones, a couple black ones...and one burgundy one that belongs to one of the local Tattoo Shop guys, I've never seen another Arrest Me Red one in person, and I spend about 2,400 miles/4 days a week on the highways.
Wednesday I was picking up a load in a little town 20 miles North of Madison and happened to spot a Victory Red Panel at the local Chevy Dealership, so out of curiosity I had to walk over and check it out.

It was a 2007 model....One year older than ours.
Had 116,000 on it...almost 30,000 more than ours.
Had the steel wheels with cheap plastic wheel covers where ours has the Aluminum wheels.
No Moon Roof like ours has.
It just had the cloth LS interior, in really nice shape but still not leather like ours.
No running lights, no On-Star or top of the line radio like ours has...and of course no spoiler...which is all on ours.
About the only option I saw it had was running boards, and ours has that too.

While it looked really clean, and the interior looked spotless...it was listed for $8000.00, with price "Reduced For Quick Sale" to $6,599.00

Guess I Got A Pretty Decent Deal After All......:dancingchili :

Panels are getting harder to find. I have also noticed that HHRs prices have gone up in this part of the USA. I am looking at a panel in Canada with a sunroof and low miles but I have to see what it will take to get into the US.

I bought a 2009 HHR 2LT (not the panel) six months ago with very similar miles (78,000) and options for almost exactly the same price you did. I'm very happy. the only fundamental things wrong with it is that it is not Victory Red and the previous owner was a smoker. You did well.
