Good Bye HHR Hello Monte Carlo SS

I am now the proud owner of a 2006 Red Monte Carlo SS. I traded in my sandstone HHR to get a vehicle that both me and the Mrs. will enjoy. She never did like the HHR and since we had to get rid of her 2000 Turbo Beetle to buy the HHR I have been on her bad list for many months, well 9 months to be exact. I enjoyed the HHR, but felt I should give it up for a vehicle we both wanted and would both enjoy. I have enjoyed reading all the posts and obtaining all the knowledge and tips you have all shared with me.

Rob

Well Rob, no hard feelings here. You have learned the most valuable lesson of all; a happy wife = a happy life! Words I try hard to live by!

Congrats on your new ride - and say "hi" to the missus for us!

Congrats on the new ride. Just cuz you don't have an HHR anymore, doesn't mean you can't stay around. Please be sure to post some pics of your new ride. Sounds like it's a very cool ride.

Just because you no longer have an HHR, doesn't mean anything. I don't believe owning an HHR is a requirement for membership here. If it did don't you think some person(s) would have been asked to leave for asking for so many photoshops.

Montes are cool. My dad was debating between the HHR and Monte. Being the die hard NASCAR that he and his wife are, he chose the Monte.

I realize that you don't have to own an HHR to post here. The only reason I said anything about it was because of the bye smiley in his original post.

Goldy...looking forward to seeing pics of your car when they are available. I'm sure it's a beauty and that you and your wife will enjoy it.

To keep my SC Mustang GT and buy an HHR, my wife required a new Audi A4 to be content!!!!!
