advance auto has 5qts mobil 1 and filter for $29.99 !!! but the manager said they did not have the mobil 1 filter for my 08 2.4 ????....he did try to give me a ac delco in it's place , but he couldn't get that to go thru the register either.....he did say that he was pretty sure he would have it straightened out by tomorow.....i will be checking to see , cuz that is a good deal.

I ran into this same problem the last oil change. I got the Mobil 1 and a Purolator filter.

Yup, I don't get that... I saw it listed somewhere (Mobil 1's site I think) that they do actually make a M1 filter for our cars... I do still take that deal when I see it at Advance Auto here in WI, as I'd rather but it from them than big, fat Wal*Mart! I usually just get the filter for my Tahoe or Riviera with the deal as they always have that.
