Goodbye.....for now.

Hello all. First let me say it has been a pleasure visiting this site for news and all your help. The lease on my HHR was coming up and I wanted an HHR SS badly. But frankly I could use a little more cargo space for my stuff, soooo I purchased a TrailBlazer SS. The cash incentives were too good to pass up. My wife and I saved $5,000.00 right off the bat. Believe me, I had some separation anxiety when we left the dealership, but it's time to move on. (Anyone who lives in the Chicago area go to Apple Chevy in Tinley Park. They are good people to deal with.) I still own a GM product and it is an SS. I encourage you all with SS's to visit trailblazerss.com, whether it's an HHR, Silverado or Cobalt. I'll be checking back from time to time. Thank you all for your help. Ride safely and God bless!

Enjoy the Blazer SS but I'm sure you'll miss the mpg of the HHR evertime you fill up.

That is, until he mashes the accelerator and lays down a thick patch of rubber leaving the gas station. 400 HP!

Have fun with your TBSS. One of the best kept secrets in GM's whole lineup

I came from a Trailblazer to an HHR, to save money on gas and get a newer vehicle. Anyway, wanted to post http://www.trailvoy.com in case you weren't aware of them, they are a great TB message board.

Hi Mike. Nice car you are getting into! I had a V8 390 HP Buick Rainier ( Same platform ) and it got decent MPG for what it was. Best V8 I've ever owned.

We got about 17 grand off of list on it, so it was a deal we had to take

Took a bath on it at trade time though, the 47 grand list came to only 13.5 grand on the trade in two years later. I really wish They'd price American cars more realistically.

We found the Rainier too small for our needs and went back to a minivan.

Still have the regular old HHR though

Good luck in your new vehicle.

Holy Moly!!!

I guess I'm not too surprised...my HHR listed for 22K and in less than a year it is only worth maybe 10K on a trade...my 05 Matrix with 64K on it got me 10K on the trade for the HHR

One day, sooner or later, I'll have my mid-life crisis and move on from my HHR and purchase my dream car (Corvette)...can't wait!
