Got the dreaded "ICE POSSIBLE" message on my DIC this morning

That's about right, mine comes on at 35F. But, I always go back to my instant MPG by pressing the "scroll" button on the steering wheel which goes back to whatever you were previously viewing so I don't know when it goes back off.
IMO 35 degrees is a little to warm to warm of ice. It's like the little boy who cried wolf.

If you need a car to tell you that ice is possible, you're crazy.
For some strange reason I've been driving cars for 23 year and I've known that ice was possible without my car telling me.
Silly message. Just as useful as the one you get when you spin your tires.
If you weren't aware that your tires are spinning maybe you should take the bus. LOL.
