Got my HHR yesterday!

What started off as a gloomy, rainy day here in Metro Detroit became a wonderful, sunny, warm day just as I took delivery of my HHR.It was perfect timing. The sun broke through and shone brilliantly on the Cardinal Red paint, highlighting the fiery metallic pigment. It's a beautiful color.
No problems during delivery except for removing the license plate from the Audi that was trade in fodder!
Initial impressions-the HHR drives "bigger" than it is.I think the raised seating position has much to do with that.It feels wider on the inside than my daughter's Cobalt(esentially the same car).Having said that, there's no excuse for the tight confines down by the seat switch/recliner lever. The thick "C" pillars block visibility far more than the ones in my old Audi. It's quieter inside than I thought it would be.I can barely hear the exhaust.Once again driving a manual trans car is fun.As long as I can move my left leg,it's stick shifts for me!The storage space(glove boxes)is not large enough.I wish the tilt wheel tilted down lower. But then the wheel would block the speedo more than it does now.
The color changes radically depending on the angle of the sun, going from a ripe strawberry red in the morning light to an dark ketchup red at sunset. And yeah, the rump(not mine, the car's) sits too high.Gotta get some levelling springs.

What, no digital camera, how can that be, this is 2008. This would be like going without underwear.
