Got a new used 2011 HHR from Carmax

I had a 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix that wouldn't pass the emissions test and since I had 320,000 miles on my 09 HHR I decided to trade both cars in at Carmax for a red 2011 HHR 2LT. The car is really loaded with most options. I did have something wierd happen on the way home last night. I decided to check all the numbers on the DIC and the average mpg's showed 7.6 while the average speed showed 4 mph. As I drove non of the numbers changed. I decided to reset and it appeared to start working correctly. The other strange thing is the emblem on the rear hatch is an SS instead of LT. I don't know how that happened since this is supposed to be a rental car. Anybody got any ideas?

It was still going pretty strong when I traded it, and the look on the salesmans face was priceless.

Congrats on the new HHR.
The DIC numbers sound like it was doing a LOT of idling around the car lot.
The SS emblem? Maybe the LT emblem was lost or stolen and that SS just happened to be laying around, so they stuck it on the empty spot.
Other possibility(I hope not). The rear hatch has been replaced with one from an SS. Does it have the little "turbocharged" emblem also?

I love my 09 2LT. It is loaded too. Has more features than the Caddy CTS, I traded in for it. Leather and all.

It didn't have the turbocharged emblem so I guess that would eliminate the rear hatch being from an SS. I am going to get a friend that paints cars to see if it has been repainted. I had driven the car for about 10 miles but the DIC numbers didn't change.
