Lethal, here's what I did: stuck a 1" square piece of Velcro on the rearview mirror (low and centered. I don't even notice it anymore). Then stuck another 1" square Velcro on the back of the GPS (high and centered). Holds nice and steady and there's no problem seeing out the rearview. I did it this way for two reasons. 1. For safer driving my eyes don't have to move far to see the display and 2. since the GPS is used very infrequently I didn't want anything "permanent". No marks left behind if I ever want to remove the Velcro from the mirror. Finally, I use a pencil with an eraser tip as a stylus to change screens, settings, etc.
