I need to locate 7-10 of these pieces to replace missing ones on my 2009 LS Panel. It had been driven hard before I purchased it with 142K miles and I want to clean it up a bit.

Local Chevy dealer wants $4.00+ per each but did provide me p/n 9595118. Seems this p/n is aligned with many other GM vehicles but not necessarily my HHR. Certainly GM didn't make hundreds of different permutations for all of their cars using lug nut covers??? Dorman shows Direct Cross p/n but when I check compatibility, I strike out.

Anyone know where I can locate affordable replacements? Thanks.

I would imagine that you could go to a salvage yard and get them for 25 cents a piece..

The Dorman cross is fine for our HHRs. Have the parts store order you a box of 10 if possible. Cheaper than by the piece.

Dorman numbers deal with by the piece or by the box...

Try to buy them new if you can. The older they are the more brittle the plastic gets.

Each of these websites I visit (Advanced Auto, Dorman, O'Reilly) have me complete a compatibility check and each comes back as incompatible. The p/n that local Chevy dealer provided me may be bogus since they wanted $4.00+ for each one.

You will find many "compatibility problems" with parts for the HHR. The hub covers are not really "standard" they are more like some got them, some did not. Try calling the HHR a truck or SUV, instead of a Chevy sedan/wagon that sometimes works. $4 each at the dealer sounds about right. I was quoted $1.99 each for the copper washers for the banjo fittings on the calipers!

Don't fret the little stuff. All of us here give great info and are willing to help out.

If you still have issues.... (I was a part time counterman & weekend manager of a good local auto store for 22 years, then spent a year filling in as Manager in a 24 hour, 350+ fleet vehicle maintenance facility with a parts shop included. Vehicles from Ford Focus', Chevy Malibu Hybrids, 2 ton, 7 ton, 11 ton, Tractors, and some owned trailer boxes. If I only went by "listings" the fleet would not be running)(Thats what drives me nut about the Dealer Parts Department asking for vin #, yes it helps the average person not get the wrong part, but if you know what is needed and have the chevy part number.....)

Use the below link to rock auto. The catalog system is great & I just looked up for my 09 Lug Covers. Lists 2 types, one for stock 5 spoke steelies, & one for 18 hole steelies (listed as "except 5 spoke"). I cant list a link because the search feature only gives you the option to print or email the search. If you are having trouble on the rock auto site give me your email and I can email you the info. Get the nut covers from them they are only about 88 cents each & rock auto gives great service.
