Do you have that TSB number? I have searched everywhere for that........including some private networks and did not find anything related to what you describe.

Also......even though I can find threads and posts on several cross model forums, that mention an injector problem, nobody has indicated a TSB to refer to.

If someone of this forum has the injector problem, they could benefit from referencing that TSB !!!
I have the TSB its just a general one pertaining to about every engine GM has. I have yet to see one HHR come into our shop for fuel injector problems. I've only replace a OAT sensor, a shifter, and some running boards and thats it for HHR problems here.

Here is the TSB that I found:

This bulletin is being revised to update the service information in step number 3 under Injector Cleaning Procedure and update the Warranty Information (excluding Saab U.S. Models). Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 03-06-04-030D (Section 06 -- Engine/Propulsion System).

Condition
Some customers may comment on any of the following various driveability symptoms:

• Extended Crank Time

• Hard to Start

• MIL/SES Illuminated with DTCs

• Hesitation

• Lack of Power

• Surge or Chuggle

• Rough Idle

• Light or Intermittent Misfire

Cause
Due to various factors, the fuel injectors may become restricted. Extensive testing has demonstrated that fuel related issues are the cause of clogged injectors. At this point, no specific fuel, fuel constituent, or engine condition has been identified as causing the restriction. The restriction causes the engine to operate at a lean air fuel ratio. This may either trigger the MIL to illuminate or the engine to develop various driveability symptoms.

Correction
Fuel injector restrictions, deposits can be cleaned on the vehicle using the following procedure. Under NO circumstances should this procedure be modified, changed or shortened. As a long term solution, and to prevent reoccurrence, customers should be encouraged to use Top Tier Detergent Gasoline . For further information on Top Tier detergent gasoline and fuel retailers, please refer to the following Corporate Bulletin Numbers:

Top Tier Detergent Gasoline
Okay, so what is "Top Tier Detergent Gasoline" I did experience a moment where the whole car vibrated while the engine was running when stopped. Once I got moving the problem went away and has not returned.

Top tier is branded gasoline. ie shell, marathon, bp,etc. Nearly all gas comes from the same pipes, but most refineries will add their own additives or detergents to the mix. the non-branded stations do not add anything that is why they tend to be cheaper.

I would definitely recommend getting the best gas possible for any car made today. My old Mercury can run on any garbage you throw into it, that's the beauty of cars with carburetors. Modern injection systems, although very good at what they do as far as economy and performance, they tend to be finicky. Dirt or water in the gas will affect it. One may think that the oil companies are hyping there detergents (Shell's V-power or BPs InVigorate), but they actually work. And with my new HHR, I notice the difference between brands. Smaller engines will react quicker to contaminants than bigger V8 engines.
