BUMMER Tom!

Well, - I'm glad you are OK at least. (Are you?)

I would have thought you'd buy some deer whistles after the first encounter?

Don't they sell them near you?

Look on the bright side; - now you can install the cool aftermarket windshield glass like Captain has (with a glare strip and no black dots).

There's always an upside!

Deers must love the orange. Like SoCal said I recomend PPG replacement glass with the factory tinted glare strip. It still has the dots but the tint is in the glass so you don't have to deal with them like you would with a tint strip.

Yes there is 2 of them deer whistles I mounted after the first encounter, they are on each side of the plate. I could post a pic of the deer but someone would complain. But I did take a Pic of it also.

I tell ya this makes 8 deer I have hit or been hit by. Starting to get unnerved by this one. Never had one hit the windshield before and go over the top.
Damaged:
Front fender, hood, headlight, drivers door, windshield, top will get looked at.

I was glad I had no roof racks. and the windshield held up pretty good for the hit. And Mike, Your stubby antenna got by with no damage, It passes the top crash test with a 4 star rating!!

You are actually making me think about mounting deer whistles on my HHR. Do you think they would work if I hid them behind my lower billet grille?

Yes I am ok, Got a little shock from it. Was thinking I got to quit driving.
And I only have 427 miles that I have driven the HHR from my last deer hit 2 months ago. I have been out of town for 6 of the last 7 weeks.

Look for a HHR VS Deer pic in the dungeon.
