Sweet! I like the black and it will look good sitting next to my Jet Black Triumph Daytona 675.. How do you like the 2.2? I drove both the 2.4 and the 2.2 and really didnt notice much difference in power to be honest. The 2.2 was pretty powerful!

This bike was featured in the 2008 Triumph675.net calender for the month of October.

Hold out for the exact vehicle you want. In November, I picked up a '06 2LT in dark gray, with only 31.5k on the clock. Paid $11,000 out-the-door.

It's been a great vehicle. Love all the equipment it has that my Focus wagon didn't. It gets great gas mileage, and handles really well.

My only regret is not waiting until the right Sunburst Orange HHR came along....

Don't be afraid to search long distance if you have the time. I was all set to travel 400 miles to get one before it was sold out from under me....

I agree, HOLD OUT FOR THE EXACT (USED) CAR YOU WANT

Don't feel intimidated by going a long distance to get what you want. Particularly with the power train warranty, 2007+ vehicles have lower risk if not crashed. Girlfriend got exactly what she wanted, fully loaded 2006 2LT with manual transmission, and Texas Cheryl got her sunburst orange (looks like the University of Texas burnt orange). We had her HHR inspected by an independent mechanic we chose before we paid, and the struts and front sway bar bushings/links were replaced. After we got it, the only things we found wrong were some pits in the windshield and burned out side-marker light bulbs!

This one might be mine by next week...My wife took a look at it and drove it and gave me a thumbs up if I wanted it. The good thing is the 12 month/12000 mile bumper to bumper and the remainder of the powertrain warranty till 2013. Some others I looked at had 3 month/3000 mile and I have to let them do the repairs...WTH is that? Not to mention they would only move a few hundred bucks at a time on the price. I was up half the night (on the advice some have suggested) searching the internet as far as Florida for the right one and pricing wasnt much different. Some higher and some lower than I've found near home and alot that were not GM certified. The only thing about this one I don't like is it has no rear spoiler which is no big deal!
So I asked myself how much longer am I gonna put my wife through this tortureous process of "HEY HONEY, look at this one. And "Pack up the little dude and lets do a road trip".
I missed out on 2 that I never got to look at in person because of my work schedule and not getting there before they were gone, and another I made an offer on 2 hours before it went to auction and they let me walk out for a couple hundred bucks... J/A
So if all goes well......

Update...

So I came home from work this morning and jumped on the google button and guess what I found?
A 2008 Cardinal Red Metallic LS with Cashmere cloth, (I like) running boards and black roof rails (I also like) Has the upgraded stereo w/6 speakers but no subwoofer (sounds good to me) and it only has 13,364 miles on it! Got it for $11,250 before tax, tags etc. Owned by a woman (Saw the title with her name on it) and is almost perfect. <--- Me all the way home! Original window sticker Total Vehicle Price was $19,460

Guess this makes me an Official Member of the ChevyHHR.net family...
Now...what kind of wheels would look sweet on her?
