Yeah, I was thinking more collisions on the driver side. Nice of the car industry to take advantage of that fact.. I'm still hoping that B2E is the correct code for the 'Fall Edition'... digging through the "special edition" thread, it looks like it's for the "Spring Edition", which appears to have just the standard headlights. I guess we'll see in a few days...

Search window, Google search option, first result for "fall edition".

Has GM part numbers.

^ yep, had those part numbers bookmarked, but RockAuto's GM numbers didn't match. But they did have w/B2E option listed... so those are the ones I bought... Didn't think it would be this difficult (or should have just ordered right from GMparts with the right GM code)...

The trick to getting the B2E darker lamps is the year , they were only available in 2007

Interesting...RA didn't have year fit listed, just whether it was a "w/RPO B2E" or w/o RPO B2E"...

When you go into the parts lists they ask make, model, year.

The "Depos" are aftermarket & are actually Black inside. The OEM Fall Edition ones are not as dark, but look cool..

Ok, here we are for a confirmation. First, the order was delivered by RockAuto as expected, since they were ordered there :-) Second, the headlights were in DEPO boxes, so whether DEPO supplied for the special editions for GM, we may never know. But the B2E code for the darker chrome is correct.. here's a photo with a new light in front of the old light... quite a difference, and I reckon it's about time the old ones were changed anyway!
