Yes. I believe the 2LT has been around since 2006.
I guess PulpFriction didn't read all of that link that I posted. There is a reference to the 2LT package in there. I guess he overlooked it.

The HHR was available in LS, 1LT and 2LT all through its build .
the option was the dealer or the buyer’s choice.

My 2008, the red AA5, does have the 2.4L. It’s de-badged but surely had “LT” on the transom, and I’ve seen that badge at least on 2007’s and 2008’s and probably other years as well.

My comment was intended as a question and had more to do with GM’s technical distinctions - “model,” “package” and “option.”

It was based solely on the info at FG’s link, https://carbuzz.com/cars/chevrolet/h...pecs-and-trims, which of course is not an authoritative source. It lists an LT and a 2LT for 2009 and later, but for 2008 lists only the LT, plus an optional ”LT preferred equipment group,” and I recall no mention of a 2LT, although the end result could be exactly the same or subtly different..

Feel free to enlighten me.

Right. But I still don’t have the sticker.

I know it’s just trivia, and maybe no one thinks it’s worth the discussion, but that website implies that “2LT” graduated from an option group to its own model in 2009. If I had my sticker and it said “2LT” at the top and not “LT” I’d know otherwise. Has anyone ever seen a 2008 sticker with “2LT” at the top?

I don’t have that sticker either on my 2011, a member here ran my VIN for me and emailed me the list. The code isn’t on top of the sticker, this is from a 1LT 2008

My 2006 has the RPO code of 2LT and I have the oil cooler to prove it.
