Yes except was stronger than the day I first drove off in it.

Well, my car is finished. The service writer states the recall was done, and she had the shop machine the front rotors as she felt them pulsate. After driving it over some of our town's lousy, bumpy roads, she hears no buzzing.

She insists that if it comes back, she'll go for a ride with me and find it. So...we'll see!

Chevymgr - it took about 8.5 hrs with a quick lunch stop and lite traffic. Are you coming for work or pleasure?

I wish my service people would have the attitude of "we'll ride and find it". Mine want to "ride and try and prove it's not broken". I've made one manager eat his words twice now. So frustrating.

My brother-in-law bought a vacation home somewhere is the smokies on a lake. I was thinking about taking the kids to D.C. to show them the buildings that the people work in that are always wasting my money and some day will be wasting theirs.

So it's a day there and a day back...hmmmm, will have to think on it.

Update: so far, so good. No buzzing, etc. They even (unbeknownst to me until I noticed it this morning) put my front license plate bracket on the car at no charge (it just came into the parts dept. and here in CT, you need that plate on the car...or else)!

So, a positive recommendation for Clyde Chevrolet-Buick of Vernon, CT. Michelle, the service writer I dealt with, is a peach. It's nice to see customer service alive and well somewhere!

Bruce, I'm glad it turned out good for you! I like to see positive stories about dealers, since they are so rare on the forum.
