Heated seat issues.

So in my 07, the driver side seat, doesnt heat up. The heated seat button, when you press it, it flashes.. Passenger side works just fine.
Where do I start on tracking down the issue? Thanks!

The LS model didn’t have the heated seats option, are they a factory set taken from a LT , are all the parts factory?

https://www.google.ca/search?q=2007+...&bih=626&dpr=2

it could be a faulty switch or temperature sensor

That's what I have is an lt, they are stock heated leather seats.

Is there a way to test those?

The same way you check any electric heating element; continuity.
The connector is under the seat.

thermocouple inside.
it is a relatively fragile thread.
Of course, it is protected from kinks - but it will only withstand your ass (wide spot of contact). But if you often step your one knee on the seat or your child likes to jump on it - the thermocouple can be broken.
Just peel off the leather cover and evaluate the damage to the touch and visually.
Find a broken place - replace the thermocouple, it's not expensive. If you don’t find a broken place - test the power supply.

The person who had it before us was a bigger person, along with I used to be a bigger person. Add in they didnt take care of the car.. I'll order a seat set, hog rings and hog pliers, swap out the thermal.

I cant seem to find factory replacement thermals, under 2xx.xx each. Wonder if I could adapt universal ones to the factory wiring.

I would 100% rule out wiring and switch issues before ordering anything this adventurous....
