i would have to say, that is definately not the cure. rubber is fine! spring sucks and does not have any tension to pull arm into window, i bet a new wiper arm would work. thoughts?

I have the Dash Control Module (With switches for heated seats and HVAC controls) that I got when I planned on getting the heated seats then changed my mind and just put in the leather seats w/o heat. The unit is in excellent condition will sell for $75.00 + shipping. Will post a pic tomorrow.

Well here goes...So i got most of the parts in which includes everything in my first post. The I/P harness which was needed to have the connectors for the HVAC console wired for the heated seats is a part which must be ordered by a GM dealer. The GM Dealer must call in for it and let them know that it will be paid for an not a warranty issue. (Thanks to CHEVYMGR Fot That Info)! You also need the heater control module for under the seats, and both harnesses. Being that your car is an SS, you may already have the harness there. My car is the LS, and they did not offer heated seats in the LS, just the LT and up. Also because mine is an LS, I would have to change the Body harness which is about 1,000.00! I don't have the money or the patience to even change this part! What I will be doing is hand wiring it up to the switches through a service manual that I wll be getting for my car. This will also ensure that no damage be done to my car and I will follow all GM wiring diagrams. The Heated seats do not go through the BCM, so you can direct wire this and work perfectly fine as well. I will still be going through the main fuse block for the fise which is a 20A fuse in space number 23. All in all, If you wanted this completely plug and play, your looking at about 2,000.00 total. I hope this has helped!

salvage yard

i believe it would be much easier and cheaper to get everything from a salvage yard. get the entire seat w/heat already in it, then add the rest. new stuff is only new for one day , or less.

No kidding! Since I keep the sunroof open even in the cooler temps, I use mine pretty much all the time on low and it is a nice and toasty 99F.

they are a nice feature.

has anyone ever done this to a 09?

I have the hvac switch and the the plugs fit and have all the leads and I have empty unused plugs under each seat...which leads me to believe that I have the wiring in place for the seats to be heated, just no heaters?
