Hello HHR.net

Just wanted to introduce myself, active member of solsticeforum.com and decided to utilize your vast knowledge. My wife (GM Employee) decided she wanted to purchase an HHR so I spent some time searching for one that meets her desires. I found a Black/Cashmere Leather and hope to take delivery on Monday, if the truck is on time. If not we are still going ahead with the purchase to take advantage of the incentives available at the current time. If all of the planets align we will be driving the HHR to Ocean City, Md on Tuesday.

I live in Pittsburgh so the color combination is appropriate for my two favorite teams, Penguins and Stillers an nat, Steelers to everyone outside the 'Burgh.

Looking forward to sharing experiences and meeting great folks, my friends on the Solstice forum are all great folks and I'm expecting I'll find the same here.

Thanks

After looking around the forum I am starting to get excited about this purchase. I love the Ecotech in my Sol and although I would have preferred the 5 speed, the 4 speed Auto will serve the family just fine. Looking forward to going to local cruises with both vehicles.:twothumbs

Already have the detailing supplies packed for duty at the beach. Solstice is over 2 years old and never has been through a car wash, hopefully I can be as good with the HHR.

Welcome to the HHR familia!

GREAT COLOR CHOICE! I have Black/Gray leather.

You WILL have to keep it clean--but it is worth the effort (for the record, I maybe "wash" my car with water about once a month too--but it is always sparkling...)

Thanks afs9, Hillsdale and HipHop, My Solstice is COOL (silver) and has a shine I love. Lately I have been using TW Ice and am very happy. Black is going to be a different challenge.
