Hhr?

I don't have one yet, but want one for graduation. Since I'll be going to college I want something bigger, I currently drive a mustang. I was wondering if this would be a good car to get. I test drove one a while back and liked it. How is the take off on the 2LT because the one I drove was a base. Are there any other positives to it besides good gas mileage and safety?

Yeah, it's just frickin' cool! FWD - better control in rain and snow. Let's see, college....4 seats....more room for girls! Um, large storage area, more room for beer. OK, I'd better stop.

Are you in MO? What school are you going to in the fall?

This would be a great car for a college student. The 2.4L is a very peppy engine that won't disappoint you. And lots of room too.

I own a Mustang and a HHR. Sometimes I'm late leaving the house becuase I can't decide which to drive! Usually the HHR wins.

The 2.4 is peppy and gets almost 2x the mileage of a pickup truck but for a small car I wish it had more room, guess that I got use to driving full size pickups that had some room both in the cab and in the back.

What a great little car!

I love my HHR. It gets good gas mileage, handles good and is fun to drive.
I like the look but not everyone likes it as much. One of the ways you can tell how much most HHR owners love their car is by how many are customised. Most people who buy a Nissan, Honda or Volvo, Lexus or what ever just drive it. HHR owners customise it to fit them and treat it like their children.
Good car for you and I think you will like it. Curly

Yeah, I live in Missouri.

Most of my friends think they are ugly...:P. But I love them, but have never seen any teenagers drive them.

Get an SS and watch their jaws dropping in the rear view mirror.
