Question HHR AC Troubles

My AC is a little noisey and does not work well. I drive 17 miles to work and it's an still not cool in the car if it's above 80 outside. Also there is no Max AC any one else have the same frustrations.
Thanks in advance

Hmmm, well mine is a little "noisy" I suppose. But it cools dowm within a minute, so as far as that's concerned sounds like yours is ill. Max A/C really only directs all air to the face vents on cars, so since the HHR is a smaller vehicle perhaps they did away with it, but Max A/C never did anything to the air temp, i.e., it doesn't make the air colder. Take it in for warranty work is my advice.

I'm not a big fan of air conditioning, but the other day it actually hit 90. I fired up the a/c. No noise and WOW was it cold! My wife and said I was "lookin' a little bit perky", if you know what I mean. Absolutely no problems at all.

No problems with mine. My glasses fog up whenever I get out of the car because it's so cold.

for Max fan on A/C
turn fan on high, hit the recirculate button on the right
be sure you have a strong grip on something

it will blow u away. fastest way to cool the HHR down

I have nhad to use mine a few times over just this last month. Temps over 100 make you do that. So far I have had no problems. I will not know anything about the heater since that will probally never be used.

If you lived in the Phoenix area you would definitely become a "Big Fan" of A/C real quickly. 110 here yesterday, probably the same today. 113 tomorrow they're saying. OUCH !!

Isn't the first week in January proclaimed "You might actually have to use your heater week" in the Phoenix area?
