Come to think of it this year I can not remember using the heat in the house or car.

Yea,I have a noisy compressor. Have to turn the radio up. As much as I hate to, gonna have to take it in for repairs. It's embarrasing to drive around with the compressor louder than the exhaust tip on this new car, ....err truck,....err suv...errr, trucklet???????????????????????NEW

I've noticed that almost as soon as the AC is turned on, it's blowing cold air. I'm never had a vehicle that didn't require running with the windows down for a least a few minutes. No noise either (other than the wind sound.... or is that just the void inside my head that does that..?)

Mine works great as well, but i have noticed it is a little noisy. Nothing that I am concerned about, but you can hear it.

Only have about 650 miles on my HHR. But the A/C compressor has constantly more noise. The "warden" says, "it sounds like 2 cats in heat".

Taking a trip to So. Cal this coming weekend. Goes into the dealer on my return.

Does cool nice, though.

Ran mine today and stood outside next to it while running (the car, not the compressor). A little bit of a belt chirp, but nothing else.

I've noticed when I turn on my A/c the compressor whines a little louder when I'm starting from a dead stop. But when I get up to speed all is quite. Gets really cold really fast also. NICE.

My A/c Makes A Growl/whine Noise Also. It Is In The Shop Today Getting A New Condenser Tube And Evaporator Hose. There Has Been A Service Bulletin Issued For This Concern. I Hope It Works.
