Shoulda pressed on the brake petal harder to make the lights brighter, right?

Maybe the brake light wires are kinked, cutting the flow of electricity.

I would think, it might have something to do with- being smarter than the equipment you're operating.
Why do they call it common sense, when it is by no means common? "Moon"

Sounds exaggerated a bit to me. Especially when the poster opens w/ having the car 5.5 years. Yes the car has been around since 05, however, the earliest production of these vehicles is early June 05, making the poster's HHR no more than 5 years old off the production line at the time the post was made.

Did the poster ever test drive the HHR before purchasing?? Guess those blind spots just magically appeared over night.

Does anyone else have side mirrors that move when hit by bright lights?? Rear view mirror, yes, but not the sides.

Gear shifter knob coming off.........clutch problems........ May have learned how to drive on a stick, but sounds like the poster needs a few refresher courses.

It's interesting to know that this forum is not the only one that gets trolls.

Reverse in a panel is no fun, especially in parking lots. I check every mirror a million time, then turn off the radio, back up, and listen for screaming.
I've also noticed since I have a panel that it is a magnet for people to do stupid things near, like parking behind. One time I had a family squating down below the window picking up their dunkin munchkins off the ground, of all cars to spill behind, take the one with the biggest blind spot.

One of my gripes with my HHR is the sunvisors, they are useless! For one, they do not fold towards the windshield enough and with the visors down on the drivers side, it's right smack in the field of vision and you cannot see above or below the visor when it's down. Also, with the short windshield it is hard to see the traffic signals overhead if you pull too far up at the intersections.
